My Folks' Place is a private residential house located in the rural town of Liberty, Maine. Inspired by the natural landscapes of Liberty, I designed and built an energy efficient home that is an aesthetically engaging addition to the environment. Although the home is single-story and a modest 1,440 square-feet, a series of shed roofs and large windows provide an interior sense of grandeur.
